George's first beach day
My college friend, Maura and I took our boys to the shore for the day. It was George's first time touching the sand. I wasn't brave enough to let to much touch him just yet. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be cooking on the hot sand. He did seem to love being near the water, feeling the breeze and watching the waves and kids play. George got to do some tummy time on the beach. Notice in one of the pictures of him on his belly looking to the side, there he is checking out girls that were next to us. He couldn't take his eyes off of them. He is such a flirt already! Maura's son tried to show George how to relax on the beach. The last picture is of the beach buddies after a rough day down the shore.
Meal plan
Heather and Ryan had us over to prep crockpot meals to help us all ease back into the school year. We all work in schools except for Pete. The guys were in charge of watching the babies while we made meals. We ended up making 30 meals for about 6 dollars each! Thank you Heather for all your hard work. Ryan and Pete thanks for watching the kids and working on your beer bellies. Love to the Collins!

This is a video I created from birth to 3 months of age. The song is called "Not For Me" and is from my favorite band O.A.R. Enjoy!

New Milestone!
This weekend George began to sit up on his own! He began Saturday trying to reach out for the lotion and balanced himself with one hand while reaching with the other. Then this morning he was sitting on his own for 15-20 seconds without having to brace himself. Sensing from the pictures, he was proud of himself and we couldnt be happier to see him develope his talents!

4 Month Visit
We had a 4 month checkup on Monday and George is a very healthy and happy baby. We feel so blessed.
His measurements came in at just under 18lbs., 26 inches long and a healthy sized head (can't remember the size). All measurements still rank in the 90th percentile although the growth is starting to level out. Thought he was going to be a giant for a while!

Amazing Weekend
This past weekend was a very exciting one. Rhys and George finally got to meet at the Gergely household in Elmira. In addition, I was able to see Rhys for the first time since he was two days old and Jillian got to meet him for the first time. Jack and Abby also visited for the weekend with their 4 amazing kids. The boys are all so sweet and their youngest, Sara, is our Goddaughter. She is quite the firecracker and we love her. Steve's girlfriend Tina had her two wonderful boys at the house as well. It's safe to say that there hasn't been that many young kids in that house in a VERY long time. It was so amazing all being together making great memories, and hope we can have many more weekends like that in the future.
